Pretty good game.

Why does the octopus get double word/letter points on the 3rd word?. It makes it impossible to beat him. I should get double points to if you want to be fair about it!

This is so beautiful. Finally my spelling skills come in handy in combat. I love this game!!

Entertaining game - teaching me words I didnt even know! Challenging the brain in a fun way. Frustrating at times - but stick with it. My one small complaint is not being able to read hints quick enough. Other than that - fun!

From what planet do you get your words? My word "tubs" wasnt in your dictionary, but your "ger was. Ive seen words not of the English language. I deliberately misspelled a word and it was accepted! Could be fun, but these alien words make it difficult to play intelligently. The higher the level, the more ridiculous the Scroodles non-words get so you run out of lives. Booooo!!

Addicting and challenging! However, there are several words missing from the games "dictionary". Also, its VERY hard to earn coins. Ive played almost up to the last level available. Still cant afford a good eraser. :(

Lots of potential here thats squashed by the Freemium model. About half of the time a level is impossible to win due to not getting appropriate letters. Pair that with three measly 20 minute lives and youll have this app sitting unused far longer than you play it. Most Freemium games Ill drop five or so bucks on to keep trucking but the prices here are absurd. Almost beat that level? 80 coins ($1.00) for a 50% health bonus when some levels have taken over 20 tries would make me go broke! When you do actually get to play the game its fantastic. Sure the enemy plays take some time but it makes it all the sweeter to erase those buggers. The variety of Scroodle characters is very impressive as well as all the different kinds of power-ups. A few changes I would make: get rid of the letter Q as the chances of getting a matching U are low let alone being able to make a decent word with them, give players five lives, increase the advantages of purchased erasers for more incentive to pay cash for coins, allow at least one free shuffle per level, add a button to skip enemy animations, replace the wonky dictionary with something more proper, and create more opportunities to earn coins. Will any improvements be made so that players get to play this game for longer than a few minutes at a time? One can wish. Unfortunately, Scroodles at this point is just another flawed game only a few tweaks away from 5 stars collecting dust in your games folder.

Its a fun take on scrabble, I only wish there was a jumble the letters option rather than just getting a new set of letters. Still very fun!

While this game has high potential, it has quirks that do need attention. All of the complaints about the dictionary used in the game are correct. On what planet is "HEEZE" even a word? The same goes for the letters thrown out to use- sometimes "death" is your only option because there is no way to use all of the letters given at times to reach tiles that boost your "attack". 3 letter words dont do much when all of the booster tiles are at the end of the space to fill in and with 3 scroodles taking turns at you, you end up going through lives quickly. The issue about the stars to unlock levels is also spot on. Youd have to be perfect to reach other levels. And now that Ive cheated my way to the end of the latest update, Im left wondering when the new update will come out. So Ill be like another reviewer and just go back and try to reach the maximum star limits for each level so when the new update does take effect, I can just unlock the new level and find out what treats are in store. Fun game, fun themes.

I cant put the game down, but even when I do (I have to sleep every once and a while), I dream about erasing things with my words. Kudos to the design team - lots of awesome characters and graphics.

Its a great word game. Very fun concept. The I -app purchases are on the higher end.

When are you going to add more levels? Please do. Been waiting for it. Thank you!

I love this game so much but it really needs to be updated faster with new level. I practically almost have 3 stars on all the levels, thats how much I play it. Please update!!!! I want new levels to play :)

Adorable, fun, challenging. I love everything about this game. The music isnt annoying, the sounds and Scroodles are fun, and the game boards are properly strategic.

So this game reminds me a lot of scrabble, only more action-y. You attack monsters with so many points (HP) with the points you get spelling words, along with double letter and word spaces... Its pretty tricky, even for myself that finds most word games too simplistic. But this one you have to use a little strategy (which enemy to take out first bc of their specials or their word proficiency) as well as your normal word spelling noggin. Its a fun mix, and Ive never done a review for any game before, but this one is a game I keep coming back to that retains the element of challenge without ramping it up too much or necessitating in app purchases (tho they are available). Highly recommended to other "wordies".

Almost everything (good and bad) that folks have given feedback about is true. The dictionary is at times wonky and it does seem like those pesky "death" letters come up when youre left with very little 3+ letter word options. That being said, this game is unreasonably fun, challenging and addicting! I play lots of games...like, an inordinate amount...and this game is one I cannot wait to play. One reviewer intimated that the only way to collect enough stars to unlock levels was to cheat. Thats ridiculous. You need patience and some perseverance to grind out some of the tougher levels; and you have to think quicker than youve probably ever had to in order to find the longer words. This is a unique game that is very well done. Of course theres always opportunity for improvement, but Im so ready for more levels.!

This is a great word game, someone came up with something different than the same old thing and provides a really neat twist to the genre. Never thought Id get to play a combat word game! LoL its great!!

I absolutely love this game. Its not too easy, not too hard and very unique. My only problem is Ive beat all the boards they have and am waiting for new ones!
